Committee Members for 2026 Committee meetings are held monthly and are scheduled for the following dates (NB subject to change) - Any change will be noted on this page. Any member can attend and/or request an item is added to the agenda for discussion. Request to be sent in writing or e-mail to the chairman 7 days prior to the meeting, wherever possible.  Dave Harbour dave@flynva.org Dave was made a life member at the
2025 AGM in recognition of his long service to the club which goes back to
the 1960s - details on the club's website. |
He has taught many to members fly and served in a number of positions on the committee over the years and is one of the club's examiners. He is known for being very generous with his time, expertise and engineering skills. |

Former Honourary Life Members
|
|  Bert Smith was elected an honorary life member at the 2012 AGM in recognition of his continuous active participation and service to the club; particularly as an instructor and examiner. Bert was a founder member of the club and held various posts on the committee including Chairman and Secretary. We are sad to report that Bert died in January 2023 aged 90 years. |
