NENE VALLEY AEROMODELLERS

FIND THE NVA FLYING FIELD

This is an aerial view of our site it is about 3.7 acres of grass field (with some sheep!!) We have a winter car park with hardcore surface and in the summer we can use the grass field which is less distance to walk .

General

(for SatNav users MK46 5EJ will get you very near)

The field is situated next to the B5388 between Yardley Hastings and Olney. Please take care when turning into the field itself as the turning is situated in the middle of a sharp bend and visibility is poor.

From Olney the B5388 leads from the town centre north-west and the field is about 2-3 miles along on the left.

From the Yardley Hastings end the B5388 is a turning off the A428 just south east of Yardley Hastings and the field is a right turn about 1-2 miles along. Be aware there are new time/distance speed cameras on this road so be warned

From the M1 coming north

Leave the motorway at junction 14 (Newport Pagnell) and follow the A509 north. In Olney Town look for signs for the B5388 and turn left onto it then follow the directions in general above. if you miss the turning in the town centre continue on the A509 and turn left onto the A428 towards Northampton. then turn left onto the B5388 and the field is on the right.

From the M1 Southbound

Leave the Motorway at Junction 15 and turn left towards Northampton. Go down the hill, up the other side and past the junction for the town centre. Stay on the dual carriageway under the next turning for Brackmills, and take the next slip road just before the flyover - this is signposted for Bedford. Follow round to the right around the roundabout underneath the flyover and take the A428 towards Bedford. Follow the A428 until you come to Yardley Hastings and the B5388 is a right turning at the top of the hill 300 yd's out the other side. then see general for the rest.
